It would be nice for a while, I'm sure but I prefer real travelling and wandering around a real environment. This is a holiday for people who's leisure time is spent in shopping malls.

Now now. I went on a cruise for my honeymoon. We traveled to Key West, Cozumel, Mexico and Costa Maya, Mexico. The ship is a blast on its own but the excursions offer you a chance to do lots of other things. We went snorkeling in Cozumel, had our picture taken underwater with fish, and drove across a remote area of Mexico through mangroves and farmland to a beautiful private beach. Sounds like you should check it out Dave. It could be fun for your next trip.

have to agree with you Dave.. i've always preferred to go my own way.. I'm even one of those extreme cases that would rather travel alone..

LOL.. I'm actually in Utah right now, although it's not far from home I purposely left my friend at home.. mostly because as much as I like him the two of us in my car for a whole day with his marlboro lights is more than I can stand..
and yes, new theme... somebody speak up. I don't want to choose just yet. I want to make sure this thing is good and self supporting before I start adding my strange ideas...

what about you? hmmm..... have you picked out a theme yet? I don't feel like doing a search there's getting to be more than a few threads to try to keep track of who said what on what week....

You know; like the Empire State Building for NYC, the Golden Gate Bridge for SF, Eifel Tower for Paris, "The Big Potato" for Boise Idaho (EDIT: My apologies to the inhabitants of Driggs, Idaho; the home of the ACTUAL "Big Potato") Could be an iconic person too I suppose...like Paul Bunyon.

I like this idea. It would be interesting to see what different towns have as icons, as we know, most don't have something as well known as the Empire State building, but every town seems to have something. I know what I would do, as I've been talking about taking these pictures for a year, now. This would be just the kick-in-the-pants I need to get the job done. And, unlike last weekend, we don't have any scheduled shoots that would prevent us from getting out and about this week.

I like this idea.. and sorry. no big potato's that I know of.. But, there's always the sugar beet factory, or Lizard Butte or the Capitol building.. ok, I won't have a problem finding a composition.... Hey, were you doing a google search on Idaho landmarks??
