Default My first attempt at HDR

...using Photomatix Pro with two files from a single RAW.
Does anyone know how to (easily) get rid of all that noise, in the trees for instance?

The beach is in Howick, Est Auckland. The lens is the 10-22 @ 10mm.

Not bad at all. Better than my first attempt. Everyone one but me uses some noise plugin or program, but I forget the name. I sure someone will come along.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I've used NoiseNinja, sometimes in the past, and probably it should work. But I wander if there is a way to obtain less noise directly from Photomatix Pro.

don't expect to get good results from HDR if you only use a single RAW file. there's simply not enough dynamic range. Infact it's pretty pointless doing HDR from a single image. you'd be better off using the blending option of Photomatix.

Yeah! I've just made an experiment with two distinct shots and I obtained a much better result. Well, no problem for the future to bracket the exposures, but I am a little bit sad that I will not be able to fully recover some old shots. TANSTAAFL!
