Being gentle does not feed the bulldog!
In #1, the exposure seems to be a little too hot. The building is rather washed out in many areas. This is the classic case of needing more room to back up (usually not an option) or get a wider lens (expensive). So, in doing what you have to do, there are opportunities to worsen the situation. In this case the bottom corner of the building is cut off (bad enough - see the two guys who have their feet amputated?), but the top corner is also cut off (worse yet). You have to learn when to cut your losses and make the best of a bad deal. Getting the centerline vertical would help a lot. Sometimes it's better to do a good job of that which you can get without compounding the problem. A straight shot into the building with the camera held level would avoid the lack of foundation and the weird perspective, and it would have eliminated the converging verticals. A properly done picture with that approach may be a better picture than the one where you just miss getting it all in and end up with several negatives. In #2, the red telephone box immediately grabs your eye and doesn't let go. Then the flower basket gets your attention and there is some nice ping-pong, back and forth - so there is plenty of interest there. The composition is a little out of the ordinary, and it's perhaps cropped too tightly at the sides and top. However, we don't know what lurks outside the frame, so we have to trust your judgement that it was best left on the cutting room floor. In #3, the little blue flower gets your attention - so the foreground is very pleasing. However, the barn looks tilted (that can be fixed) and there is that really distracting bright line at the right side that needs to be edited out. Then there's way, way too much blank, uninteresting sky. I will take back the "barn looks tilted" because that may be entirely due to the perspective. These are interesting shots - all. Your exposures and color balance on #'s 2 & 3 were good, and it's clear what you were trying to do. That didn't hurt too much, did it?
