Can't seem to upload file. File is under 1 meg. Is it a Mac issue?

No it's not a Mac issue. I use a Mac.

Must be less than 100 kbyte in size
Must not exceed the dimension of 800x800 pixels
Needs to be edited in Photoshop (menu/image/resize) or other Photo editing program. iPhoto doesn't resize.
If you use Photoshop then save it for web.

i think i got it finally. not very skilled at reducing file size yet. picture has lost some clarity

Success.
If you try to get it closer to 100 Kbite it will retain it's clarity better. Yours is at 61 Kb.

This red head is a very interesting bird. What is the location?

thank you for the tip. it is really a brilliant shot at original size. i will get "it" sooner than later. This was taken at southern tip of Maui at the marine reserve.

Welcome to the forum. You have a nice start. Just figuring out the loading procedure is a task that you have mastered. What sort of equipment are you using?
