Quick & dirty comparison of the Canon 70-200L f2.8 UIS and the 24-105L f4
Just a quick and dirty comparison of the Canon 70-200L f2.8 UIS and the 24-105L f4 lens, both set at f5.6/100mm. The interesting thing is the 24-105 was set 3mm back from the 105mm stop (approx 100mm a thought) and is reported to be 99mm in the EXIF data, yet there is some difference in the picture sizes between the lenses.
Pictures were taken RAW and converted with CS2 with no boxes ticked (no compensation), then saved to jpeg.
It was not meant to be a scientific test, just for general interest.
