I am a beginner, too, so no good advice from me. I like the shots. I am interested in this car -- I don't think they sell the S3 here, and you only see a very few A3s around.

The second shot has a lot of reflections. I have read that a polarizing filter can help get rid of them if you are going to be doing a lot of car photos.

Hi there, you need to think about what your background is, for cars, something industrial normally looks great, take a look in some car magazines and see what you like the look of, or, reaserch bokeh and practice it to remove the backgrounds.

They only sell the new A3 in the US. Doesn't look much but the 265bhp 287ftlb 6 speed, is an adequate hot hatch for the country roads on the way to work.

A polarising filter is now on the list of more things I need.

I will research "bokeh" and try some different backgrounds thanks.

NIce car and pics. Might want to try some sort of tire shine or amorall to all that plastic under the hood. Makes it look really nice especially for taking pics. Here's what mine looked like. Helps to really blacken the plastic, although I have those scratches from the hood.
