Default Approaching Storm

Looked out the window and saw this coming, ran out and got a quick shot before it started pouring. I liked the white boats and masts against the almost black sky. Just what we need more rain in Connecticut.

Good shot with the contrast. Sometimes you need to make the effort to run outside and improve the composition, get rained on, be fried by lightning, and tell the story to all your friends on how you survived.

Yes,the boats and grass do make for a great contrast between them and the grey rest of picture, nice one Vic.
We`ve had similar weather here for the past 10 days.

Beautiful shot! I know what you mean about more rain. We got over a foot in the last week here.

Very nice shot, I like the tones. And send some of that rain our way too. We had a solid downpour on Tuesday, our first rain of any significance since November 2005!

Great shot Vic

I love the light we get before and after heavy rainfall

I have a friend in Beverly Ma who has done nothing but moan about the rain you've had.

Us Scots know how you feel, our weather is pretty crap right now too
