some photos from today.. couldnt keep up with the weather, had to change the white balance every 5 mins

i'm quite happy with these, but as usual i'd like some C+C.
hopefully they show i've taken on board previous comments (too fast shutter speed, filter causing headlamps to repeat all over the photo)

not as sharp as i had in mind, and not sure i even want to post it here, but you get the idea of what i was trying to achieve


this is how to take sheene curve. bazza will be smiling from his cloud


no C+C on this one.. i know its crap, but i was pointing in the other direction when i heard a bang


now, yellow flags are there to slow you down when an accident has happened.


unless you are emmet o'brien and you are colour blind. lucky he didnt pile into the marshall and driver. Keep in mind that he is actually heading towards the barrier. I would have taken a burst, but my card was full (no need for C+C on this one either )

ok, so i'm posting too many alfas, but they are gorgeous (especially compared to the other mingermobiles in the race)

not really a good pic, but i cant post without posting the man zanardi. you get a point if you know where i took this from! (another expriremental shot. not sure if i'll try standing there again as the photo is a bit boring)




as i said, constructive C+C welcome, but not on those shunt photos, i just posted them for your enjoyment but i already know they are crap

I'm in the background of that Zanardi one... Don't remember being so blurry!Or being that dry for that matter.

why were you changing the white balance all day Gary? a 20D is pretty much spot on (in my experience) if you shoot AWB (auto white bal...)

I like the first one, nice reflections, maybe a bit slow on the shutter, has softened it due to not panning at the right speed.

7&8 are tilted argh

Zanardi one is different, ferk knows where you shot it from, opposite clearways?

number 2 is tip top, nice and sharp and just the right amount of shutter speed

LOL, i only do the tilts coz i know you love em

yeah i think the problem with the first one, is just me not panning smooth enough. maybe some more shutter speed too

number 2 is probably my fave from the whole weekend. its hard to catch those cars as they suddenly leap into view

zanardi pic is from standing on top of the tunnel at paddock. poking my lens through a gap in the fence. not really worth the bother, though.
