Black and White Album #1

These are my black and white photos from the last few weeks. Converted with photoshop + the contrast was increased using curves. Comments and advise always welcome. Please try to take time to look at each one. They are all mich different.

woah.. thats a lot of pics.

The first one is trippy, it kind of makes me go cross eyed.

The tree trunk is cool.. looks like an eye.

The cat is cute, but I'd like to see the focus on the eyes!

Overall, I feel like the images could use more "pop". They seem a bit flat to me. TFS!

They seem kind of gray and lack contrast to me... however, it may just be differing monitors.

okay, thank you for the feedback, people on other forums agreed that it was lacking in contrast as well, i will add more next time.
