Default Clouded Silouette

Been playing with just shooting Raw, but I think it's like putting Michelangelo in Peewee Herman's hands when it comes to me. What do you think of this pic?

IMHO it is a nice picture and very dramatic sky but the silhouetted tree is a non distinct blob. I think a single nicely shaped tree would be better. The sky is nicely captured especially the depth and clarity back to the clouds in the distance. The picture may benefit from no tree at all only the ones silhouetted in the background.

We probably shared that beautifully sky I know you are close to me

Thanks Short5. I wish it would have gotten a good one sans the tree. Will have to go back. The skies around here have been amazing the last few days.Tthe B&W Circular Polarizer really starts to pay for itself with these kind of shots. So how close neighbor?

Mandragora,
You are right. Just looked like such a pretty buccolic scene, but the sky really should have been only subject.

I agree that it'd look better if the tree was standing on it's own, but you could improve it by cropping some off the left edge. The tree itself is a very nice shape, but is just too crowded by the trees/bushes to the left of it.
