Default HDR, Park Gazebo

For those of you who don't like HDR photos, here's one from my first outting. It's chock full o'mistakes

I've included a smaller shot from the merged files to give you an idea of the range.

I have an idea of what I'm doing, and I know now NOT to go out if there is the SLIGHTEST breeze. I'm also going to have to read up on Photoshop curves if I'm going to get this right.

Smaller shot. The middle exposure:

Turned out rather well if it werent for the doubling of the tree branches due to wind movement. Might need a bit of contrast adjustment ...

I'm reading a tutorial on histograms and levels right now. The PSCS2 HDR Merge process requires an understanding of this. I ain't got it yet.

Sure!

http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials.htm

Look under the heading "PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER" for curves and levels.

For HDR tutorial, look under "ADVANCED TOPICS" (yeah, like they're gonna put this one under basics )
