Default Exotics at Pacific Raceways

My life peaked two weeks ago, and i got to spend the day at the racetrack with my employer and several of our customers. I work for Weissach Performance and we are a licensed dealer for Lamborghini and Lotus cars, as well as being a major player with Porsche.

I spent most of the day on the track or in the classroom in a Lotus Elise, what an amazing little car. But the times i had "off" i fired a few shots of the lapping cars. Some really really good drivers out there in some really really fine automobiles.

Was my first try and some panning. I was doing it freehand, no monopod this time. I could only bring a couple things, the storage space in the Elise is on the "limited" side.

DP935 - Rare find

Lotus Elise - Canadian spec, i believe the rest of the world knows them as the 111r? Could be wrong though. This is the one i drove down to Seattle and put through the ringer on the track. This car goes well beyond my limits as a driver and i was utterly amazed by it's abilities.

Lamborghini Gallardo. This guy is an AWESOME driver and really pushes this car to it's limits. Great to see one of these cars really used to it's intended design.

300SL Gullwing. Rare enough car, but to see it on the track? Amazing.

Lotus Esprit V8 - One note.. the front brakes on this car (pads and rotors) cost about $5000, parts only.

The rest of the album.
