I've been slowly working on designing my own site and had a question for those experienced in HTML and XHTML.
Which version is better? Or should I stick with XHTML for it's syntax error-check capabilities? I ask because I ended up attempting to design in GoLive2 using Transitional XHTML but running "Check Syntax" comes up with a lot of errors that I can't seem to fix (or I "fix" based on Adobe's check but then I get other problems). I'm a novice at web design and please accept my apologies if this has already been asked. Also, I've tried to install Gallery 2 on Godaddy.com webservers but can't seem to get the Pre-Installer program to work. I get a "D drive not writeable" error. Maybe I should just stick with pbase.com... Thanks!
