nice pictures, and an awesome lens. On my monitor pictures number 3 and 4 look a tad bit under exposed. Other than that, the action in the shots are simply amazing.

yes its a great lens. It was pretty gloomy in fact and unseasonably chilly with a northerly wind.

These are great photos. This might be the wrong thread for this question, but do you feel like the 300 4.0 is sharper than the 70-200 2.8 plus 1.4 converter combo? I like the versatility of the zoom but maybe I'm losing more quality than I realize. Anyone out there who has an opinion of how these two compare? Thanks, Frank.

anyone can walk around qualies with a big lens and get courtside, unlikely to be the case at Queens club. These were taken about two courts length away as the 300mm with 1.6 crop has a pretty narrow FOV.
