First time out with my first "white" lens. 300mm F4L.:)

Rained all day, so I didn't really move around, corner to corner, as much as I should. I was really nervous about having my new lens out in the pouring rain, so I kind of parked myself under some trees most of the day. Anyway without further adieu....

I really like the GT cars and the wet pavement...

...Do you have a pass or just the sidelines?

I'll be in attendance shooting from the crowd tomorrow, oh so sad :)

Yeah, I'll be shooting from the crowd areas too. We will probably run in to each other seeing as how there aren't many places left for us mortals to shoot from, what with all the catch fencing and all.

Anyway, here are a few more:

Yeah, it was my first day with a new lens, 300 f4. I figured out on saturday that if I backed up away from the cars, i might actually get the whole car in frame, who woulda' thunk it?

Looks like that 300 is a keeper. Great shots for the first day...especially with the rain.

Thanks alot!

Yeah, the 300 is a definite keeper. I've been looking at the pics it took over the last couple of days, and I'm still amazed that they came out of my camera. The color and sharpness of L-glass just can't be beat in my opinion.

Next up: 1.4x teleconverter:D

Thanks,
-chris
