Default Washington Monument, Washington DC

Finally waded thru some 300+ RAWs from my trip to Washington week before last.

Spent all Sunday wandering round the sights of Central Washington - great day!

And I FINALLY worked out how to link images from my smugmug site

#1 has nice colors with excellant exposure and #4 is pretty abstract. Sounds like you had a nice trip.

I love the colors! Did you bump up the saturation in Photoshop?

The first and last photos are particularly striking (first one especially so).

Thanks all - all PP done in RSP - boosted vibrance and used medium contrast curve.

The first shot is simply outstanding work, this image is really good, in some ways it reminds me of the tower of Babel. But the colour, sharpness, shapes and composition is top notch.

Many thanks. Its a bit of a mess at the moment - I have too much in the public galleries - need to weed them down a bit! Need to move the rest of my Washington shots into galleries too - will post some more soon - have some good ones of the Capitol, Lincoln, Iwo Jima, Vietnam and WWII memotrials....
