I'm hoping to get back to NY for a couple of weeks in July and August so I can shoot a Super DIRT event or two.

Define "upstate"

I'm a couple of miles off Exit 16 off the NYS Thruway, Highland Mills.

Best,

Technically I believe that is correct. Anywhere below Yonkers Mt Vernon and Pelham Manor is downstate.

Are you just pulling my leg because you're just another NYer as well? But if you are correct, the OP better revise his question to be more specific because that's one hell of a large upstate area

just googled a bit, interesting lol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upstate_New_York
