Since I was only assisting and shooting a little for my own portfolio, I'll post some detail shots I took. Not comfy posting pics of the couple since these weren't my jobs.

Around this area, the 'money dance' is popular. Drop a buck in the back to dance with the bride and at the end you get a shot.

Some beautiful images there. Just wondering how you lit the dancefloor shots? I really like their 'vibe'.

Just a bounced flash.

My LSII wasn't cutting it for that evening (works great for other things), and I didn't want head-on flash, so I was just bouncing it and it was acceptable...nothing fantastic. I have a Stroboframe Pro-RL arriving today.

What lens did you use for #13? The distortion is controlled well, or did you correct in PP?

All I did was make sure the horizon was straight in Photoshop. I used my 24-70L all day for that wedding. I was most likely all the way at 24mm. No distortion.

I like #19, It's one I want to start taking. I wish I could be a second shooter and focus on shots like these. It looks like fun! I'm gonna try to work detail shots in slowly until I find the right flow. Great stuff here!

I really like that one, too. This stuff is pretty much my style. My dad used to shoot weddings about 20 years ago, so he's all about traditional stuff. He and I will be teaming up and I'll do my thing, he'll do his thing, and I'll create a storybook album for the couple. It's a great combination.

The 24-70 L constantly impresses me. The image looks close to a tilt shift image. BTW you have some great shots here.
