Perhaps we can make a deal here... if you don't complain about five photos in a single post, I promise not to post the other 251.

a bit of interesting info on the mantis...
"The praying mantis, because of near human mannerisms, has awed and intrigued man from earliest times. Many old cultures held special beliefs about these remarkable insects and regarded them with reverence and respect. The often upright stance, with powerful forelegs raised as if in supplication, the alert expression of the bulging eyes, the free swiveling head--these features, taken together, may have inspired the ancient Greeks to name the insect 'mantis', their word for soothsayer, prophet, diviner." Don
it was me didnt sleep thanks to my messing about above but was only trying to get you to post more as that was how your first sentence was 'framed' I know you knew that. so no worries that I am confused now.... no way me just want to make it clear to those who don't understand how I am joking sometimes you know I loved all the pictures very much they are beautifully photographed the first lot .....some kind of mouths they have not sure if its something inside or out of the mouth and great close ups # 3.. 5... this last beautiful shot that isn't a plant ? but its a beautiful colour next to the mantis. shows him off so very well. its a picture worth framing. really beautiful you said > "nothing was taken in the studio against red velvet. " not too sure but do you mean this shot 'was' taken against red velvet here ? If I had kept up saying 'nasty' things would you still let us see some more of the 250 and not think we have had enough ? and I did really wish you a 'very' good nights sleep best wishes marie
