Default I wonder what he's dreaming about?

This is my first stab at shooting in a pseudo-studio. Its an espresso colored blanket providing the background and bottom. I thought the red pillow provides some nice contast to the skin. In hindsight, perhaps I should've shot with the subject bare. Lighting was with a 580ex bounced off the ceiling. How would you make this image better -- C&C please?

I like the exposure. If the corner of the pillow (baby's head) was propped up a little I think it would be better. You should erase the tear on the pillow's edge.

Keep up the good work!

I love it... the softness fits and I love the "pose".

Very dreamy effect that goes well with the subject. Beautiful shot of a little cute baby, good work.

Not a big fan of baby pictures, but this one is brilliant.

This is sooo cute! Love the shot. The skin feels a bit overdone though. Babies already got very smooth skin, so smoothing it even more makes me feel it's a bit OTT.

Exposure: P mode, 1/60 f4.5 ISO 400 and exposure bias + 2/3.

Thanks for the tip Claire. I'll adjust things before printing!

Thanks to others for responding!

Islandphoto...lighting was a bounced flash (580ex) straight up to the ceiling.
