I'm about to purchase the new Canon i9100. I want to purchase paper at the same time, but I am undecided about what to buy. I normally like matte papers, but Canon doesn't have much to offer in this area. Most everything I see is Photo Paper Pro Glossy. Epson has Archival Matte paper. Has anyone used it, do you like the results? Any other suggestions?
For anyone who prints to sell with a Canon i9100, what do you prefer, and how do your customers respond to glossy paper? Also, I am looking at buying the printer and paper from CompUSA. How often do they run their 50% off paper sales? When was the last one? I would like to purchase the printer and paper at the same time, but during a sale because I would like to use their 6 months same as cash deal. Does anyone know of any other companies that offer 90 days or 6 month financing. I tried to call B&H, but they are closed for vacation this week. Does B&H offer any financing? |

I have the Epson 2200 and use the Epson branded Premium Luster. I also buy all supplies (ink & paper) from www.thenerds.com and www.atlex.com. You may want to check the sites out for you Canon supplies as well
As to the financing, my Master Card did mine. Good luck Bradley |

I have the 2200 and though I have and like the Epson Luster paper, I really like the Ilford Smooth Pearl Paper. It seems just a bit better than the Epson paper. I've got several boxes of a hundred sheets of 8.5x11 paper and several of the 13x19 inch sheets. It's great paper.
I wish they had a double sided luster though. I'm going to be doing some calendars and will have to use double sided matte paper for the pages. Mike |

MJordan,
The Ilford Smooth Pearl paper?? Is it as good as the Premium Luster by Epson?? I tend to stay with the luster so that it will not clog my print heads. I checked some prices on this brand and it's a whole lot cheaper than Epson Luster. Also, where do you buy it? Bradley |
