Default Filters for the G1

Four questions concerning filters;

1- What filters would be recommended for the G1 ?

2- Can filters be replaced by software filters ?

3- In the case of the Canon's 58 mm adapter with the WA lens, where do the filters go, before or after the WA lens ?
