It goes without saying that with an autofocus camera you must have a circular polarzer.
It seems you get what you pay for in filter land. While I wouldnt want to spend $100+ on a filter there are people who would. Tiffen is probably the best of the "cheapies." Steer clear of any "house" brands or filters made in Korea or China. "Made in Japan" still seems to be a sign of quality. -Pete

Pete, that is not exactly true.
It is true for Canon EOS digital cameras, which are all SLR. However, there are non-SLR autofocus cameras that don't use the main lens or filters there. ---Bob Gross--- |
