Lightning is one of those things that's hard to capture. I think color does more for it with the sky lit up in blues and purples.

I agree with robin on the color, although lightning looks good anyway you get it (imho) If that really bright streak is a larger fork, you can adjust the exposure level before conversion, I did this and it brought a super bright fork into great detail.Trying to adjust the exposure in PS after conversion didnt work as well. Nice picture, I wish I had a background like yours for my lightning shots.Have any more?
