I just wanted to add the Sigma 20mm 1.8 EX DG to the lens archive.

So glad you like it! The sale partially funded my "upgrade" to a wider but slower f4 Sigma 10-20. Hope to have some test pics to post soon. Really missing f1.8, so I found some pocket change and picked up the infamous 50mm 1.8. It will be here tomorrow. Getting set for a NYC trip in a few weeks...

The sigma 20 1.8 is a fine lens. I've had one for quite some time. Very sharp, and focuses *very* close. A little "buzzy", but it does fine. Nice buy for $3-400. I think I managed to get mine for about $300 last year.

How did it do at 1.8 and 2? And how was it in low light?

It does great. At 1.8 100 iso i was even getting a little overexposure

Grego, if you are interested, theres a group who do free Shakespeare plays around the LA area. http://shakespearebythesea.org They love volunteer photographers if you ever feel the urge to shoot some theatre. The costumes are beautiful. I took these at Hamlet in San Pedro. Pt Fermin Park. 1.8 of course.

Ooh thanks for the recommendation and the volunteer thing. I actually have been shooting in Long Beach at Cal State Long Beach because of the Summer Pro League.

I'll keep this in mind. Thanks.
