Default rusted screw

A boring day in the garden then i see that the screw on top of the barbeque has rusted so i fetch my camara and snap away.

Back after about 5 years of deciding if i'd like to get back into photography or not ...

16 years of age and getting back into the thick end of photography.

That's a good picture. There are a number of things that could be done to improve it if you have image editing software, but it's a good composition as it is.

contrast & tone are good. perhaps just a touch more depth of field would have improved it some. You can achieve additional DOF by closing down the aperture a little (to a higher number).

I like the dof as it is, it makes you really pay more attention to the screw and all the textures around it.
