I had posted a thread on ideas for places to get a web page. Thank you for all of you suggestions. Here is my webpage. Tell me if there is anything you think I can do to improve my site.
http://www.reneeknightcreativestudio.com/ Also, I need to set up a way for people to put their credit cards into my site to order their photos. Does anyone know how to set this up so I can accept credit card payments. Thanks a ton.

There are many e-commerce sites out there for small business. Please be careful with this and do research before you choose. Someone's credit it not to be fooled with.
Here are a couple e-commerce sites to look into: http://www.esellerate.net/ http://www.paypal.com/ http://www.e-junkie.com/ OH..BTW beautiful site Last edited by nikonthree : 28th of July 2006 (Fri) at 16:34. |

Hi Renee,
I have looked at this as well, and mt initial feeling is paypal would be the easiest to set up. Other options can require getting a merchant account from a bank, which is a hassle and a cost. Paypal also takes care of the security side of things, so would give you peace of mind nothing should happen to anyone's details! Darryn

I find it hard to read the text on your description on services, pricing etc menus. I'm using a 17" monitor 1280x1024 monitor. Perhaps making the text in bold to make the white txt stand out better, or another font.
Otherwise lovely site. Online payments I think as Razyl said Paypal is a good bet. I did a site for my sister and enquired about secure payments with Worldpay which is run by The Royal Bank Of Scotland, their fees were astronomical and you can wait a while till the payment is in your account. |
