Very nice shot. But I have to ask a question. Would not the head of the bird have stood out better with a lighter background ?
If Sindri likes the dark background who am I to disagree ? |

Hi snappa, fair comment you make there, but to be honest I think the rest of the bird stands out more. Having said that, other similar shots I have are of a light/dark green background. I didn't actually mean for it to be such a dark background, but when I saw it I quite liked it, for a change!

You are of course correct, the rest of the bird does stand out more with some very good detail
