powershot a60 blank screen

Hi,

I have got a pretty old a60 but very reliable.
Unfortunately, for a while, it does not take pictures anymore. The LCD shows no image, although all settings details are on the screen. You can shot, flash works but nothing gets recorded. If I try to download the likely picture, the software shows blank shots.
It's time for a new one!?

Probably cheaper than getting it repaired - and you'll get higher resolution and more features for les than it cost new. Or features that would have cost a mint then for the same price as it cost.
