I have done internet searches on the name of this flower. I just don't know. I should have asked around. Anyway, here it is!

Not keen on the pics but an interesting flower, a few clues about it might help with identification.

It's a great shot, but i think if you were to capture the same flower using a macro lens or the digital macro setting that is available on the digital elph cameras you would bring out the vibrant colors and the textures within this flower. Just a suggestion.
