I'd hug her but my wife would kill me :-)

Photo seems a little dark, was it shady?

She was standing in the shade, and me in the sun (I also did no PP). This Raiderette lady was extremely nice and polite, but the baby in the stroller was crying -surely her own- and she almost threw a fit a some other lady. (???)

When I saw her pout at first, my camera got in ready position right away, as 'cheer' leaders don't often let themselves get caught like this. We are all human. I did take a few nice photos of them, but I was there to shoot a Football practice, so I was unable to hang out indefinitely with the male crowd.

Now that I said something, I might as well comment on the thread images above.

Degas, I liked the two you posted. The one on the right, strikes me oddly because of the uniqueness of the background (a sidewalk at night as the ideal place for such an ecrobatic maneuver), but it is still a sharp and well composed photo, so kudos to you, and the Cheerleader. (If I posted a photo of myself doing this, you would mostly be able to see the ambulance, a yellow helmet, and the jaws of life).

The first one, with the whole group I thought looked excellent. I would have stepped in a little closer, so that the group fills more of the frame (simply because of the background, too much of the same color - if they had lined up against a green bushed area, they would have shown much better). But once more, fine image indeed.

Cheerios,
