Default Where would you live if you could choose anywhere?

OK, I'm bored.....yes I'm at work, yes there's lots I should be getting on with....but I'm bored! It's one of those Friday afternoon things!

I'm sat here looking out the office window.....it's grey and cloudy, the view is rubbish (back of some old houses!) and I'm thinking "why the hell do I live here?!?" (Manchester, UK.....if you're wondering!) Wouldn't it be much better to live somewhere scenic....somewhere where the view out the window was actually nice! Maybe the Canadian rockies....or New Zealand!

So I'm just wondering, if you could choose anywhere in the world to live....where would you choose??

With my lifestyle, I would live where I live: here in Rome. I was not born here, and I fought hard to make that happen.

If I didn't have to work for living... then it would be totally different... maybe on a big boat cruising the world...

I don't even have to think about this: I'd live in Manhattan...

Multi-coastal? San Diego - Come on, Steve. It's heaven on earth! Give it up. You wouldn't leave that great place.

Oh, believe you me, I'd leave in here a New York minute for Manhattan...

I lived in NYC growing up and it is wonderful for fun and food. But there is nothing more wonderful than good weather by the beach.

Wow... there are so many places I would like to live. My dream is to retire, buy a big old motorhome and live wherever the road led me next. But if I had to pick one place, it would be somewhere in the southwest of the US. Probably a small town or out in the country.

I haven't gone to the beach in almost 15 years. I go occsionally to shoot pictures, but not to lay on the sand. Screw that; that's why I have a pool.

Yeah, San Diego's nice, but I've been here a long time. A change could be nice...

I'd probably live in Taos, New Mexico, given the choice. I've been researching that area as a possible place to retire.

This is a no brainer for me, on a boat, a very big one with a good crew and an unlimited budget. But back in the real world here is pretty good too.

I'd like to live in Italy for a while, but I will come back home eventually.
