Would anyone be interested in shooting bikes August 26th and 27th at Grattan Raceway in Grattan Michigan? I plan on attending and shooting the both the practice and the races on both days. I have shot many times at this track and you can get very close to the action and the fences are low and camera friendly. The only drawback is they are running the track backwards from the normal direction which will present some challenges for shooting. I am used to shooting the opposite direction but I think you should be able to get good shots with them running backwards as well. If there is a show of interest I will email the race organizers and see if we can shoot from from inside the track. I was planning on just shooting from the spectator areas though as there are plenty good spots to keep you busy all day long without shooting from inside.

I've raced there & it's a mostly nice, tight track. I can't make it, but hope you come back with some great shots! Good luck with the permission to shoot inside. Tell them that you were "accredited" to do that at Waterford? ;)

Hmm... I wonder if we could make it. I'll have to check...
