Default Focus stacked dragons

LordV makes it look sooooooooooo easy! So I went to the lake to try my luck and I definitely need more practice! I set the camera to continuous shooting mode and adjusted the focus as the camera fired. No tripod, and with the wind today I'm not so sure it would have helped...

C&C Always welcome

Well they seem to have worked although you have got a duplicate halo along the top of the abdomen in #1 (fairly common in a stack- just need to use the clone tool to get rid of it).

Thanks Brian! I think I need more practice too -you really do make it seem simple and it's not...

Not all of them were focus stack attempts, but it's easy to take a lot of photos when the camera is in continuous mode -I was kind stunned that I got anything usable and I'm not so sure I like the effect. I'm too use to viewing the critters in a shallow plane of focus...
