I am a student looking for a part time job as a photography assistant in the northern va/dc metro area. Anyone know of a good way to search for this? I found a couple good leads on craigslist...looking for more options. Help?

thanks! that was going to be my next step of action - emailing a resume to locals. the 'ol "bug em" tecnique. I would prefer portraiture. I have had a few freelance gigs - company picnic, private bday party - loved those jobs as well.
