Default Tokina AF 20-35mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro

Has anyone got any first hand experience of the Tokina AF 20-35mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro on a 10D? It gets a very good ranking at http://www.photozone.de/2Equipment/ - better than the sigma.

Also the Tamron DI/XR SP AF28-75mm is getting good reviews. Is it any good?

I just wonder how these lenses actally rate against the closest L glass equivalents.
