Default 8/12 wedding

These three are from a recent wedding. On the first I wanted to play with duplicating a "glowy" type action I use on occasion:

The second is a tone mapped, fish-eye shot during the ceremony:

And the third is just one of the B&G shots I took...first time playing around with having them sit in the pews:

comments, criticism greatly appreciated

some nice shots.

I wish the bride's eyes were open in the first one, but it has a great feel to it

Isn't she just looking down at what the child is pointing at?
Beautiful pictures!

thanks! now that I look at it, I think they look closed too...if I crouched down an bit and shot a little more up you would have seen them open.

I love the first and the one with her sisters.
The third I think I would prefer in Black and White

They're marvilous! What camera/lens/setting/lighting did you use? Thanks!

I don't think it looks like her eyes are closed. That is an interesting angle for the ceremony shot. I'd like to see it a little brighter maybe, though. Maybe you could see what it looks like if you clone out her hair in the pic of her w/the girls? The pew b&g shot is sweet.

I don't remember. Could have been my partner, but I don't remember seeing this shot in her files. Probably another guest with a camera. We allow guests to shoot as much as they want alongside us (as long as they're not disruptive)...the theory goes, if our images aren't so far ahead of guests with little point and shoots that they want to buy them, go for it. Sometimes it's a little annoying, but the guests appreciate it and I think making people happy is a big part of this job. Of course, the obvious problem with it is, you get images like that one with the eyes shifted a bit. If they buy a print of this one, I'll try to move the iris a bit...if that works!?

Thanks a bunch!

I always shoot RAW and covert with Bibble. Use Photomatrix for the merge and CS2 for all other cleanup.
