Default Please critique the frame i designed for my prints

i want to have some of my prints done in a nice 20x30 poster, but wanted a nice frame around them with my name and location of the shot. i came up with the pic below. i was always taught, in the 4 years of high school photography i took, to add a little extra to the bottom when matting pictures, so i did the same here. what do you think of it? how do you think it could be improved? thanks.

Looks good to me.

I would get rid of the by: and just put your name

Cool shot, should make a great poster

i agree with the above, get rid of the 'by'.

its a great shot though!

also, maybe the text is a bit big? bearing in mind you will be printing 20x30 its gonna come out quite large.

I think the frame is far too heavy. When you print at 30x20", the frame at the bottom will be nearly 4" high; top will be 2"; sides will be 3" each. The bottom especially will look very large indeed. Also, the actual picture itself will only be about 24x14" - 44% of your 30x20" print will be the frame!
