I have a few thousand... this just happens to be one that I have less than 100 kb. I'll work on providing one or two more if it pleases the court.
Incidently I did sell my lens here and purchased the EFS 17-55. For the record, my Sigma 18-50 performed wonderfully. Fast and accurate (if noisy) focus. Excellent contrast, coloring and resolution. The only reason I replaced it was for the IS. It's a spectacular piece of the glass on it's own, but when you figure in price.. Last edited by stewie-lives : 1st of September 2006 (Fri) at 11:30. |

finally got my copy.
a little front focusing...i think. but maybe its just my pre-schemata i have from all these reviews I keep on reading. anywho, heres a sample pic. i think it is farily sharp...100% crop is not touched at all by photochop.

Here's a quick wide open one ( f/2.8 )
Like i've said elsewhere, if you get a copy with decent focusing or if you learn to work around it (like muggins here has to) it's a very sharp lens. I need to take it out more often. ![]() ![]() Last edited by fatdeeman : 9th of September 2006 (Sat) at 19:09. |
