Default Taxi!

A not uncommon site in NYC.

Just curious but is the shot just boring to everyone? I actually shot this from the hip as I was crossing the street - something I tend to do in passing because the odd angle often works. Maybe it doesn't here? It was my first go at the "cross-processed" look with a touch of grain added as well. Thanks for any comments

Doesn't bore me at all--I like it a lot. Not sure if it was the caption that tapped into this, but I was definitely reminded of the busy streets of nyc, and how you could see an entire block soaked in yellow due to the abundance of these things. Also, what did you do to process it to get that dullish color look? I love the way it came out.

Thanks for the comment. I know what you mean. You have to actually call the cab company here to get one, basically because they aren't all that popular unless you're alone at a bar and intoxicated I missed seeing all of the cabs when I returned home.

As for the processing... just create a Curvse adjustment layer and adjust the red, green & blue channels by themselves as well as the master RGB channel if you want. A good resource on how to achieve this look:
