Could anyone recomment a nice table top tripod that I could purchase. I plan on going on a road trip with some friends and would like something small that I can fit into my pocket or a bag and use on the go. I will also have a regular compact tripod, but would like a smaller one with me. Any suggestion?

Will be using a Canon 30D with kit lens, until I can get more money for the EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM

Canon EOS 30D / 70-200mm f/2.8L IS / 24-70mm f/2.8L / 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 / Kit Lens 18-55mm
7MDH / Slingshot 200 (FS?) / BG-E2
Epson P-5000 / Sony Vaio SZ-460NC

Thanks for the replies. I was stupid and actually searched for the wrong thing, but an hour later I did find that thread and the other site.

I was thinking about going for the Giottos U.Pod, but not sure what the difference is between the Pan head and the Ball head. That is just a little confusing to me.

Also, I saw that there is another model similar to the Ball Head QU200. This one is the QU400, on the B&H website. Is there any difference? And would the QU200 be a good choice?
