Very nice tones I both. I prefer the first one, I like the way these mountains disappear into the clouds. In my monitor I see a black line on the top of the frame, I don't know if you did it on purpose but if you did it was a very nice idea.
Maybe you can give some more light to the foreground rocks, it would make it more dramatic.

Nice images here tuffghost. I really like the first image and think if you do a little more editing work this you can really make this a dynamic photo!
