I had mentioned that this was imminent in another thread, but there has been a development...
After what can really only be described as a difficult pregnancy, our twins were delivered into the world at 04:03 and 04:05 today. Alastair William weighed 2lb 9oz (1.165 Kg) and Jonathan Robert 4lb 15oz (2.24 Kg). Both babies are doing absolutely fine, regulating their own temperature and breathing natural air by themselves. Alastair is being fed a sugar solution via drip, but Jonathan has already fired into the milk. So, anyway, we present Alastair: And we present Jonathan: ![]() |

Congratulations, Giles, good to hear all are doing well. I know it has been a long road of late. What size coin is that near Alastair's head? Guess I need to know what it is close to in size to US currancy.
Hope to see lots of pictures in the weeks ahead as they continue to grow.

Congrats!
On the pics -- love the sense of scale in the first shot. My youngest is now 8 months (his brothers are 7 and 4 years old) - my favorite newborn shot of him focused on his hands and mine. It's hard to remember as time goes on just how small they begin.

That's great Leo ... nice when you can share clothes
Well done Giles, a couple of pocket kids popped out all at once. That's efficient
