EE 2.0 UPGRADE PACKAGE (from EE 1.22 or later):

EE2_upgrade.zip

Follow instructions in http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=223149 carefully. Do the upgrade with default style first, and then modify it.

Thank you for your patience. I can only say EE 2 has benefitted much from the delay and lots of bugs has been killed and improvements done while testing it few months.

NOTE TO THOSE FEW WHO HAVE HAD EE 2 INSTALLED BEFORE THIS OFFICIAL RELEASE: contact me and I'll upgrade your code manually, changes have been made in database and files (template variables have stayed mainly the same).

For all of you out there that I beat to the download... I can say its a very smooth install, took me about 20 min on a 9,000+ photo database. It is well done!

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY AND DON'T LOOK AT YOUR PAGE UNTIL ITS TIME - IF YOU LOOK TOO SOON, YOU MAY GET AN UNNECESSARY SCARE - FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!

I had 1.5 RC4, I followed your directions and got a very smooth update, everything went just fine.

So excited to upload more photos!!!

Done and downloaded, now if I can just remember the tar commands I can unzip the file

The zip file cannot be extracted. Not sure why?

Always get corrupted archives. I feel stupid but don't seem to be able to fix the problem.
