Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L USM - The Keg

I noticed that we have no image archive for the 85L (mk1 or mk2). I think it's time we start one since we have had quite a discussion recently about this lens. Mods: if this has already been started, feel free to delete. I noticed the review by schmoezel, but it's not an image only archive.

I'll start I guess, nothing fancy.

Well, seeming that this is my favourite lens and I have been lax in postings recently, here's one from yesterday of Julia. I have mentioned this ad nauseum......if you want the best portrait lens, there is none better!

Hey, thanks for the compliment but I don't fancy myself the best! (humble me!!). I too am happy with this shot as is my wife who went and had a 8 X 10 made to frame!! I guess that means it was successful!!
