What are you using to diffuse or bounce the flash from your 420? I have been bouncing off the ceiling, and would like to catch more light in my subject's face, but when I tip the flash into a more horizontal mode, the subject tends to suffer from a flash "sunburn."
Thanks for telling me what you like, and if possible including a link or manufacturer name. Paul Jaruszewski

Although I have no experience with it yet, I just ordered a 420EX, and along with it, a Stofen OM-EX Omni-Bounce, and the Lumiquest ProMax 80-20 Pocket Bouncer. I have heard and read about the effect this has using the 420 and 550 flashes.... does wonders for softening the light.
Should receive these in a few days. Hope this helps. Tom |
