Default Time Attack @ Infineon

This car is mainly used as a drifter, but this weekend they were kicking ass around the track...
It seems to me like I have good and bad days.. Sometimes the lens works fine and sometimes it just plain sucks... or is it me? Anyway.. I'm definately saving up for the 70-200mm f2.8... I guess using my sigma 70-300 APO DG just isnt' cutting it anymore.. i mean the lens was only something like $200.00.. I guess you get what you pay for..... Will i see a large increase of joy with the 2.8?

I don't know if for you it's a good or bad day, but your pics
look nice to me.
I have a Sigma 70-200 f/2.8, I don't know how much is better than
yours, but if you would like to have a look to my last posted pics,
you can compare by yourself:

hmm, looks like tyler mcquarrie driving it. He IS the resident expert at that track, especially in RHD cars...

these shots look good!as a general rule of thumb, try to get away from centering the car. Move the car to the 'front' or 'back' of the frame, and down in the frame as well (Although the low horizon shot of the oncoming car works GREAT!)

I don't remember his name.. but he did say he was from "up here." He was pretty cool and really easy to talk to.. unlike some drivers...

I did try to get some away from the center.. but when i was cropping i forgot all about that and centered them up... oops... pic # 3 i just replaced.. so tell me what you think about the composition of it...

Personally, I prefer when cars just enter the frame (in this case it should be on the right), but your try is quite nice, though ...
just my opinion
