[QUOTE!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!![/quote]

That's a Bull Shark that was caught in the surf by a guy nice enough to let me take a few shots before he released it. I didn't see the entire catch but he told me that he was setting up his second rod and reel and looked over to see his first rig zipping through the waves. He ran, dived in and managed to grab it and it was right after that when saw him reeling. The funny thing was that the people swimming nearby didn't leave the water after he released it, now THAT'S a !!!!!!?!?!?!.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.

You can say that again. Man perfect time perfect place. A rare catch. Nicely done.

Thanks Sevan, it really was lucky. I only took a handful of quick shots, I didn't want the shark to be out of of the water too long.

It was only about 4 1/2 feet. Not so scary out of water but I wouldn't want to spend time in the water where its feeding.

Great Flicker shot Jon.

Speaking of luck, this first photo op dropped out of the sky in front of me while walking the beach. An exhausted Osprey crash landing.

Pass muster? I'll say. In the first shot, I can almost read the label on the tubing under the tank

Fresh off the grill!

Not much PP, slight increase in contrast and fill light and then sharpened in LR3. 580EX II with better beamer Flash WB gave the golden effect on the BG.
