Just adopted these two.

Well we picked them up on Saturday and they are adjusting very nicley. This was a quick pic int he back yard, nothing special just wanted to show them off. One on the left (Hercules) is 98 lbs and the right (Harley) is 76 lbs.

Rottweillers have had a bad time in the press here recently but I know from experience what lovely animals they can be.

yes and it all stems from their upbringing and the owners not knowing how to train their animals properly. These two are the most loving dogs I have ever owned. It is sad the a breed has to endure that kind of negitve press just becasue of a few animals that just don;t know any better as a reulst of it's owners.

I feel bad for both Rotties and Pitts because they both have bad reps because of careless and negligant people. If everyone saw them as being animals deserving of love and respect there would be no problems, unforunately there are some crazy people out there who either don't know any better or just don't care. Even my boxers are sometimes mistaken for Pitts which bothers me because even if they were, they are both well rounded animals and very friendly. It's sad really...

Anyway, sorry to go off like that. Your two new family members are beautiful. I'm sure they'll bring years of happiness for you and your family. Do you have any idea how old they are? They look pretty young.

I'm with y'all, they really do get a hard rap. There aren't "bad" dogs, just bad owners.

Weren't rotts originally bred for herding dogs?
