Default Find my First Post, and then Find the Next Person's

I remember, oh, three thousand or so posts ago, to my very first foray on this forum. I had just left Noink and gone to Canon, and had the chutzpah to ask why Canon's control layout lacked the same ergonomics as Nikon did.

Some assured me I would get used to it, which I did, while others slammed me as a troll, which I wasn't.

So, what was your very first post? Can you find mine?

MD "who is quite obviously just a dolt" JAK

ps: I'm going to bed now. nitey-nite.

Congrats or whatever one says on a thread like this...

I've been wondering, what is a troll? OK, the first funny person will say me. Now that we got that out of the way what is a troll?

Congratulations again on 3,000 plus posts and your large and excellent Canon collection.

a troll is somebody who starts threads or makes posts for the purpose of stirring the pot so to say, they want to get folks riled, start debates and arguments and generally like to get folks riled.... Sometimes they have political or religious agendas (allthough they get deleted by mods fairly quickly) but, more often than not they just insult and degrade for their own enjoyment.. you often imagine such individuals as being about thirteen years old sitting behind the desk in their parent's office laughing themselves silly over saying something that got the 'man from England' mad at them... trolls are trouble makers.... but, they don't really get a chance to stay very long..

How does one search in the archived threads?
I can't seem to find Sari's first post. But it is late, and I'm not trying very hard, LOL.

Could this be it for saravrose?

Seems hard to believe if it really is? It was posted nearly two full months after joining.

I don't quite remember my first ever post, but I Remember starting a thread way back when if it were "worth it" for me to spend a grand in DEBT to get my 300D. I'm glad I did =)

The search feature here isn't real good. I had a post back on the day I joined...but I can't even find it.

My first post was way back when the forum was running under tForum software, and I doubt those messages are still around, unless you can find them on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine.
